Here's my first real post: modding the MS 1/144 MMS-01 (OZ-17MS) Serpent from the OVA Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.
I started this project 19-October-2007 (yep, a helluva long time ago). I have been intermittently working on this since then due to a number of reasons: work, personal responsibilities, even financial constraints at one time or the other.
Here's what I have so far (I apologize for the pics, just used the phone's camera for these):
Mods:
1. Removed the missile bays in both shoulders, especially the right shoulder.
2. Removed the skinny portion that's supposed to connect the upper limbs to the body. That's gonna replace the green adhesive.
3. Extended the head and body (see 2nd pic).
4. Extended rear portion of the head and added some (not-yet-visible) details. It's actually the two circles and a trapezoidish panel in between.
5. Removed portion of the thingamajig on the chest's underside. Will add conduction coils later.
In more ways than one, this is a first for me:
* This was my real build after 10 looong years. All the recent builds were just OOB.
* This was my first ever WIP. hehehe
* This is my first mod.
* This will also be my first painted kit. Yeah, all the kits I built as a kid were just slapped together, nothing more.
